About This Project
VoterMitra AI is a bilingual civic-education assistant that helps Indian voters understand elections — how to register, where to vote, and what's on the ballot.
It is a Next.js app that combines Gemini for natural-language answers with Firestore for content, Google Maps for locating polling stations, and a Calendar integration for election-day reminders — all running on GCP.
Problem
Election information is scattered, and non-English speakers face an even higher barrier to understanding the voting process.
Why I Built It
To put civic information in the hands of every Indian voter in their own language, and to ship a real multi-service Google Cloud application.
