About This Project
TypeTrace is an educational simulator written with Python's Tkinter that shows how keystroke loggers work and why they are dangerous.
It is a safe, sandboxed demonstration built to teach others the mechanics behind keylogging attacks — for learning, not for real-world use.
Problem
Most people don't understand how keystroke loggers operate, which makes them easier to fall victim to.
Why I Built It
To turn the social-engineering and toolkit concepts from the EDUNET internship into a hands-on teaching tool.
What I Learned
Key Takeaways
Tkinter UI development, event handling, and communicating security concepts through demos.
